Meggy Spletzer is the second major anime waifu (after the 51 year-old rockstar Saiko), Melony's anti/antithesis, and the first Mary Sue from the SMG4 series who was formerly an Inkling now turned anime-human after having all of the ink in her body be drained and getting replenished and revived from Super Saiyan Blue Goku's divine Ki blast (as Ki is life force energy, a latent physical, metaphysical, and spiritual power made up of things such as courage and viger), though her original and more interesting Inkling-personality had to be sacrificed for a much different one, the polar opposite of what she used to be.
She was born in and originally lived in Inkopolis from Splatoon with her own apartment by herself. Meggy also had a rival named Desti who made her debut in Splatoon 2.
Now, she lives in her own house (with Greg the Alien being a brief roommate of hers) that she bought in the Mushroom Kingdom, it's now a 5-Star Hotel with only her pet cat Loaf being the true owner of the building as he is the only living trace of Meggy left. After she was kidnapped by Francis and won Splatfest she moved on from that part of her life), deciding to be close with Mario and the Glitchy Gang. She's was on vacation at Port Aurora but returned later on with her now stating she wants to become a Sports Teacher, and helping her cloned counterpart Melony in fully controlling her God transformation known as the Fierce Deity by going to college (again) with her alongside Mario.
Meggy also has a driver's license to drive her own bought Car, and her Passion, Hope, and Dream is to be a Crime Fighter (Enforcer of "Justice") so she has graduated from a College called Mushroom University with a Law Degree becoming a Lawyer; her Dream Job as an Officer of the Law, speaks at least 3 other languages besides English (Inkling, Pseudo-Japanese, and Mario/Italian "Gibberish") meaning she has a job as a Linguist, has been a Fire Fighter, has been a Cooking Chef, a job as Drill Sergeant/Martial Arts/Weapons Expert/Fighting Coach, Penguin, and she even has a job as a Police Woman.
Meggy and the Glitchy Gang are actually biologically several years older than their Calendar Ages due to spending 2 weeks in the Dead Meme Dimension called the Internet Graveyard (as evidenced by Axol aging by 5 years, 2 weeks in the Real World equals to spending 5 years in the Internet Graveyard, so since Meggy and the Glitchy Gang also spent 2 weeks in the graveyard just like Axol this makes them 5 years older in age as well).
Additionally, in Super Mario Taxi, Toadsworth stated that he had been stuck in the trunk of Mario's taxi for over 15 years, this would mean a 15-year timeskip had passed since Mario had started his career as a Taxi Man as well as Meggy and the Glitchy Gang being 15 years older.
Fortunately, in the episode "The 5th Super Meme Guardian", SMG5 use his power for changing Meggy to an inkling again but the animation was cancelled due to SMG4 said Meggy's human form was permanent. After that, in the episode "If Mario Was In... Splatoon 3", she go back in Inkopolis for training inklings for the Splatfest (since the Splatfest events as restated) but the animation was cancelled due to SMG4 quits Splatoon. In The Anime Arc 2: The End Of Inkopolis, Meggy and all of the missing inklings are murdered by Shang Tsung and Francis when Shang Tsung summons Sachiko and stabs her to death and they destroyed Inkopolis. In Meggy Is Back, Tari built Meggy as a robot fox named, Meggy 2.0.
Biography[]
Meggy is an all grown-up adult female anime-human, formerly an Inkling, who originates from Inkopolis. She is an active competitor in local Turf War battles and dreams of becoming a successful athlete. As such, she refers to herself as an "upcoming star." For that, she tries too hard and gets into lots of fiascos, trigger happy moments, obsessive moments about paint and shooting with her guns.
