Yoshi is a hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. He is one of the Seven Star Children and a friend of Mario, Luigi, and Glitchy helping them to succeed, he's like the Piccolo (from Dragon Ball) of their group.
If it weren't for him, Mario and Luigi wouldn't have existed. Long ago he progressed through 54 perilous levels (60 in the GBA remake). To reunite Baby Mario with his brother and assure them of a good future where they could save Peach from Bowser or Rosalina and her Comet Observatory.
He occasionally helps them through levels nowadays but is now a tax evader. Yoshi also can flutter and run at light speed. He's been in nearly every longplay as well. His hobbies include eating fruit and spending time with his friends.
